Baltimore's Great Cloth Diaper Change!

On Saturday, April 23rd a great group of local parents joined at Hoppin Tots Children's Gym to participate in the Great Cloth Diaper Change to set a world record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously. We were lucky here in Baltimore--we got to change diapers at noon, but there were people around the world changing cloth diaper at the same time. Green Spring Diapers and Soft and Cozy Baby worked to organize the event.

There were 42 participants, all of whom had to adhere to strict Guiness Book requirements: the baby had to be shorter than 39" and needed to be changed into a completely reusable diaper by one person who was at least 18 years old.  It was great to see so many cloth diaper enthusiasts willing to come out to help raise awareness of cloth diapers. Participants got goody bags will coupons, samples, and information, and there were lots of great door prizes that were generously provided by local companies, including GentlyMade, Felt Playground, Terraza Glass, and MOM's Organic Market.

Pocket diaper without inserts. I brought seperate inserts but in rainy season i stuffed its pocket with old cotton bedsheets and used for longer hours and it dries faster too. Lasted 3hours during daytime and 6-7hours at night
